Before buying a home, whether it's a new home or a home, you have to make sure you have many things. From the comfort, security, and what should not be forgotten is the aesthetics of the building. Make sure the building quality is good so that you don't have to be hassles at a later date because it has to repair damaged parts.

1. Invite people who understand about building materials with you to check the quality of buildings
2. Ask the actual home size. Do your own measurements if necessary
3. What are the materials used for foundation, wall, floor, tile, ceiling.
4. Materials of any type used for frames and upper frame
5. What size cast iron used (strong house using a minimum iron 8mm)
6. What type of power cord is used & how much electrical power is provided
7. How high is the house ceiling? Low ceiling can make home hot
8. How the air circulation system and its sanitation

Tips Check quality new house building and secondhand

1. See if there are stains, mushrooms, or moisture on the wall. If the wall is damp it means leakage. Check the wet areas, such as the bathroom and the sink area. Although not a big breakdown, you will need a pretty serious improvement.
2. Check if the ceiling is really sturdy. In the new house it may be difficult to detect the damage to the ceiling, but for housing the ceiling damage often occurs in a less robust building. Also check the physical shape of the ceiling, not to be wrinkle or sagging.
3. Check the contents of the closet in wet areas. Open all the doors and find out if there are damp aromas and mushrooms. A damp odor can be water or weathered wood leakage.
4. Check cracks inside and outside the wall. Cracked walls that are over 2mm wide can be bigger cracks.
5. Check if there are mushrooms in the bedroom or bathroom. Mushrooms usually look like dirty clouds in the walls and ceilings and still leave the scars after cleaning.
6. Check the interior wall plaster. For new homes, check the neatness of the construction work from the inner wall plaster. If there is a worker error there is usually a crack of the fibers on some sides. The cracks are getting bigger when the wall gets in the paint.
